Summary:

This beach walk was done during the COVID beach closure. 3 local and 2 nonlocal people on the beach. Someone had an overnight tent perched on the dunes in a noncamping closed area.

There were several pairs of Willets in the surf. There was a 25 foot dead Pacific Gray whale, male at the beginning of the mile. The whale had been reported 24 hours earlier and authorities had already been out and had taken samples. The rest of the beach seemed quite clean.
